Support House Bill 617

Preserve Lake Peigneur at Jefferson Island (HB 617) is a local bill for Iberia parish that promotes the preservation of Lake Peigneur. The bill protects the lake bed and underlying salt dome from future drilling, with a special exception for directional drilling for oil and gas.
